How to Play Cash 5

• Ask any Cash 5 retailer for a Quick Pick, or pick up a play slip and mark your 5 lucky numbers between 1 and 32.
• Cash 5 drawings are conducted every Monday through Saturday at approximately 7:35 p.m. in Pueblo, CO.
• Match 2, 3, 4 or 5 of the 5 numbers drawn by the Lottery and you win. (See amounts at right.)
• When you win, you win the full prize. The only exception is if more than 10 people win the $20,000 Grand Prize in a single drawing. Then all Grand Prize winners will receive an equal share of $200,000. If you match 2, 3 or 4 numbers, you always win the full amount.

• Become a MyLottery member and have winning numbers sent to you by email or text message.

• Winning numbers are available from your favorite Cash 5 retailers.
• Dial 1-900-448-1000 for drawing results (36 cents per minute).
• Most local newspapers print winning numbers the day after the drawing.

How to claim your prize

Immediately sign the back of your ticket. To claim all $1 and $10 prizes, simply present your ticket at any Cash 5 retailer within 180 days of the drawing. You may begin claiming winning tickets the morning following the drawing.

You can claim your $200 winners at participating retailers, by visiting one of the Lottery offices, or by mailing your ticket to a Lottery office.

To claim $20,000 winners, visit one of the Lottery offices in Pueblo, Denver, Ft. Collins or Grand Junction or mail the signed ticket and a completed claim form (available at all Lottery retailers) to the Colorado Lottery, P.O. Box 7, Pueblo, CO, 81002-0007 for payment by mail.

Prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the day of the drawing for which the ticket was purchased.

Ticket Purchasing

The Cash 5 system is available for sales at 4:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and 8:00 a.m. on Sundays. Cash 5 ticket sales end at 7:30 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

You must be at least 18 years old to buy a ticket.

Be sure to check the numbers on your ticket for accuracy. You can correct or cancel your ticket within one hour of purchase during retailers' normal business hours (while system is operating) only at the same place you bought the ticket. Sign the back of the ticket because Cash 5 tickets are bearer instruments. Players have 180 days from that draw date to claim prizes.

Tickets may be given as gifts to persons of any age, and they may win. Liability for void tickets, if any, is limited to replacement of ticket or refund of retail sales price. All claims are subject to validation.

Federal and State laws require a minimum 29% tax withholding on individual winnings over $5,000.

Tickets cost $1 each. Prizes at least 50% of sales. Overall odds of winning 1 in 6.2. Odds of winning top prize are 1 in 201,376.
